Diffraction calculation of focusators into focal curves within the framework of electromagnetic theory

Abstract:
The article considers the design of diffractive optical elements for the generation of focal curves in the framework of the asymptotic approach. A simple expression for the eikonal function in curvilinear coordinates is derived. Calculations of the field generated by the focusators into the ring and into the segment are presented.
