Research of mutual diffusion processes in thin transparent media by methods of laser interferometry

Abstract:
Methods of laser interferometry and optical interferometers with digital system of registration of images for studying processes of mutual diffusion in systems polymer - solvent and low-molecular liquid I - low-molecular liquid II are considered. The description of the equipment and a technique of realization of experiments with use the Mach-Zehnder and Michelson interferometers, and multibeam micro interferometer is presented. Kinetics of spatial distribution of refraction index of a medium in mass transport process is determined; diffusion factors are calculated.
