Abstract:
The article is devoted to the gradient method of refractive surface calculation. The radius vector of refractive surface is described by the B-spline function in spherical coordinates. The optical elements generating uniform irradiance distribution in elliptical and rectangular areas are calculated. Energy effectiveness of the optical elements is about 89 %, nonuniformity of irradiance – less than 9 %.

Key words:
refracting surface, irradiance distribution, bicubic spline, gradient method.
