Abstract:
The vortical spatial phase filter is used for performance of radial Hilbert transform which is isotropic in contrast to usually used in image processing 2D Hilbert transforms. The essential increase in contrast is shown at use of the vortical filter, also in comparison with the filter of high frequencies. Formation of pseudo-relief images for visual accentuation of objects elongated in various directions is possible if small modification of the central part of the considered filter is done. The similar filter is used for construction of spiral interferograms - interference pattern of the phase objects considering a direction of phase function change. Efficiency of vortical filter application for the analysis of the transparent objects having inclusions with various optical density is shown.

Key words: vortical spatial filter, Hilbert transform, contrast increase, visualisation of transparent objects, spiral interferograms, pseudo-relief.
