DIFFRACTION-ELEMENT OPTICAL SYSTEMS WITH MULTIPLE FIELD OF VIEW

G. I. Greisukh, S. A. Stepanov

Abstract:
The paper deals with optical systems having multiplexed field of view that are designed for optical data processing, robotic vision, etc. The constituent components include two phase-relief diffraction elements, a grating and a lens. Problems involved in formulating the system are discussed. Relations are derived for paraxial raytracing and aberration control of the generic diffraction elements.
